Thalia Spanish Theatre

Established in 1977, Thalia Spanish Theatre’s mission is to celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of Hispanic culture and heritage with unique productions of theatre, music, and dance. Thalia’s goals are to: create new work by Hispanic playwrights, composers, directors, and choreographers; promote intercultural understanding by presenting a positive image of Hispanic culture and people; provide a vital cultural link to the thousands of Hispanic immigrants in New York; produce work and employ artists that reflect the diversity of New York City’s Hispanic community; and empower Hispanic artists.
