Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre, Inc.

To cultivate a spirit of brotherhood and understanding among members of the Hispanic community; to foster cooperation and voluntary assistance among members of the community; to develop, promote and cultivate a positive self image among members of the Hispanic community;

B. To relieve and reduce unemployment among adult members of the Hispanic community through the creation and administration of an employment referral service; to seek out and persuade appropriate employers;

C. To offer advice and assistance to members of the Hispanic community regarding the amount, scope and availability of public benefits for which they may be eligible, to assist in the application for such benefits, to accompany applicants to appropriate agencies which can provide assistance, and to make referrals to appropriate agencies;

D. To establish and maintain a facility to provide elementary school age children with after school care and activities without regard to race, color, creed, sex, religious, ethnic or national origin;

E. To represent the Hispanic community and act as an advocate in matters of housing; to promote the maintenance, preservation and renovation of residential housing for low income families; to identify inadequate housing to government agencies.
