February 6, 2017 (New York, New York)– The Hispanic Federation is delighted to learn that Monica Gil has joined NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises as its new Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs. She will oversee corporate communications, government and community relations, and key initiatives across Telemundo Enterprises business units.

Until this appointment, Gil was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Multicultural Growth and Strategy at Nielsen. Her extensive professional experience in government and community relations began nearly two decades ago when she served as Deputy Press Secretary for Antonio Villraigosa, Speaker of the California State Assembly from 1998-2000. Monica also worked for Telemundo Enterprises early in her career, as Director of Public Affairs and Community Outreach for KVEA and KWHY in Los Angeles from 2001 to 2004.
