Hispanic Federation (HF), the nation’s premier Latino nonprofit membership organization, announced it will expand its Latino-serving student mentorship program, CREAR (College Readiness, Achievement, and Retention) Futuros, to Illinois and North Carolina for the first time. In addition to expanding into two new states, HF also announced a new partnership with New York State universities, adding two schools to the program: SUNY Purchase and SUNY Old Westbury.

Spectrum today announced Hispanic Federation has received a $45,000 Spectrum Digital Education grant to fund the Spectrum Mobile Learning Lab. The mobile lab will be operated by Hispanic Federation (HF) partner agency, Salud Sin Fronteras. The grant is part of the broadband connectivity provider’s six-year, $8 million commitment to promote digital education and broadband technology in communities across the country.

Marcos is the managing director and head of U.S. communications, media and entertainment at RBC Capital Markets. On Monday, June 19, 2023, GoVoteNYC released a report evaluating community approaches to increase civic engagement and voter turnout in New York City. Among other findings, the report found that Hispanic voters engaged by Hispanic Federation voted at double the rate of overall Hispanic voter turnout.
