Our Work in New York City

Hispanic Federation was founded in New York City, and has since expanded its programming and network of nonprofit members and partners to 42 states and territories.

Our History

30+ Years of Taking Hispanic Causes to Heart

In 1990, a small group of visionary Latino leaders came together to create Hispanic Federation in New York City. Since then, we’ve expanded to 42 states and territories and have empowered millions of Latinos nationwide.
