Become a Mentee

CREAR Futuros is committed to supporting mentees in the fulfillment of their college career. A mentor assigned to the mentee contributes to mentee’s academic and professional needs, as well as their social and emotional support related to a their scholastic success. The goal is to keep the mentee focused on their collegiate pursuits.

Mentee Commitment

Mentees are expected to attend and participate in individual 1:1 meetings with mentor, mentee group cohort meetings, and 2 or more workshops led by the Hispanic Federation.
Mentee’s commitment and participation in the CREAR Futuros program is for one academic year.
Communicate with mentor at least once a week.
Join campus group meetups, activities, and events designed to grow mentee’s network and support academic and professional development.
Submit surveys at the end of every semester.
Participate in Hispanic Federation lead CREAR Futuros events workshops at least two times per year (kickoff event/Latino Leaders Days/volunteer opportunities, other).
