Workforce Training & Digital Skilling

Technological advancements are changing the workforce requirements of our economy.  According to the National Skills Coalition and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, over 92 percent of all jobs require digital skills, but approximately one-third of workers don’t have the foundational digital skills necessary to qualify for these jobs.

Latinos make up 18% of the overall U.S. labor market and will account for one out of every two new workers entering the workforce by 2025. Latinos also make up 35% of workers with no digital skills. Without digital skills, Latinos will be overrepresented in the groups that are excluded from access to the digital economy. Hispanic Federation, along with our workforce and digital equity community partners, is working to address the digital divide and providing training and career opportunities for Latinos across the United States.
