Hamilton Cast Goes #Ham4Vote

With lyrics, music and direction by Lin-Manuel Miranda, a new public service ad campaign called #Ham4Vote has been launched to urge everyone to vote in the upcoming November 8th elections. Co-produced by 5000 Broadway Productions, Hamilton Uptown and The MirRam Group, #Ham4Vote was developed in collaboration with Particle and in partnership with Movimiento Hispano, a collaborative civic engagement initiative headed by Hispanic Federation, LULAC and LCLAA.

“We’re incredibly grateful to all those involved in making these PSAs a reality,” said Jose Calderon, President of the Hispanic Federation. “This election is historic in so many ways, and our community will play an incredibly important role in deciding who our next president is. Hamilton is a musical about the founding of our nation, which was built on the idea that citizen participation in government was essential. Voting is the easiest way to participate, and we join in urging everyone to do so this November.”

In addition to the PSAs, the HAMILTON Broadway company has been actively engaged in voter mobilization, hosting voter registration drives in front of the Richard Rodgers Theatre on September 28th and October 1st. Trained by the Hispanic Federation, volunteer actors in the production registered voters from all 50 states using a national voter registration form.
