Governance is fundamental. Ineffective governance compromises the ability of the management to succeed. Effective governance, in contrast, greatly assists the organization. This session delves into and reviews the roles and responsibilities of boards, the roles and responsibilities of organizational management, factors that increase board effectiveness, board role in fund development and the evolution of governance.
