The mission of New York City’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (“The Center”) is to empower people to lead healthy, successful lives, celebrate diversity, and advocate for justice and opportunity. An integral part of this mission is achieving greater social equity for people within the community by identifying existing barriers to equality and mitigating – ultimately, eradicating – them through uniquely tailored LGBTQ-centered services, supports, and interventions.
